This was an eye-opening, thought-provoking memoir that I think everyone, especially those who are not fat, should read. Roxane Gay is a master of writing.

Some memoirs just feel like info dumps about the author but this, Roxane Gay was able to weave a thread throughout that continued to tie together the whole memoir.

This was a very honest book, and I have a lot of admiration for what it must have taken to write this.
