Entangled Souls was a good read. Although it was only sixty pages long, there was still a lot of content and plot there which swept you in as it was a fascinating world to dip into. I’ve read longer works that haven’t been able to convey this amount of plot in them, so Faedra Rose did a good job.
I loved the dynamic of Astra and Nox — of course, with the page restraints, it is insta love, but the concept of their relationship and the way that they compliment each other makes it feel a lot richer and I did enjoy it.
Would this have worked as a full length novel with the lore expanded and the plot paced out longer? Yes. Does it still work as a novella? Yes. Do I need to read more books with this plot because it’s my guilty pleasure trope? Yes, yes I do.
