I enjoyed this different take on Dr. Freeze but the only part that doesn’t make sense to me is how young they are and how quickly Victor was able to figure out how to freeze her. He may be a genius but for him to develop such things they should have had him already have his degree or something instead of just interning. And it’s cute how they fall in love but I was always touched more deeply how in the original comics they had been married and together for years before this happened, you know like C.S. Lewis and his wife-there was time spent together. This kind of felt like all the recent YA falling in love in a short time to someone who is terminally ill that have been out recently.

This is one of those graphic novels you enjoy for the art rather than the writing. The dialogue read awkward (especially Victor's entire graveyard conversation with Otto), and it wasn't until page 41 that the writer found their footing.

A huge thank you to the subscriber who gave me this book as a present ! And be careful not to put it in everyone's hands (suicide, grief, illness, trauma).
When I received it, I waited a few days and then I devoured it.
I really like the DC Universe, but this book... was a real nugget.
I really want to underline the work on the designs, the colors, because we really have a masterpiece.
Some things that are said/explained are very poetic.
If I did not put 5*, it is only for certain subjects which are discussed and with which I do not agree.
Besides that, really a big crush, which I can only recommend !

So much teen angst. So much creepy stalker teen "love." I mean, if nothing else it did drive home the idea that supervillains are made...but also that sometimes they're just predisposed to wacko behavior.

One of my favourites from DC's line of young adult graphic novels! This book reminded me of A Walk To Remember (movie) but with a sci-fi twist and you know what, I loved A Walk To Remember. Unlike the rest in the series, it also didn't feel like a superhero comic to me at all.

I really enjoyed following Victor and Nora's love story, from seeing their relationship develop to the impact they have on each other's lives. There were plenty of swoon-worthy moments and picture-perfect scenes, made even more wonderful by the beautiful artwork and colours. And that frame of the calendar showing their final month together... wow.

Also, isn't Nora's brother the cutest?!

I went into this blind (I'm determined to read everything published under this imprint) so I had zero expectations, but was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved and enjoyed it. Such a beautiful coming-of-age story about love, loss and life.

Please tell me there will be a sequel?! I can't have their love story end like this!!!
