Good book. A new take for me on OV that I thoroughly enjoyed. The book was a sweet little short story, so we get a well written smut short. Love the way griffin and dion attend to her needs before theirs. This book got me out if reading slump and with a little more plot/character development and understanding, this would be a 5 star. Since this is a standalone short, Ik some questions won’t get answered, but a few loose ends could have also been tightened up (I.e. how Emily talks about the horrible breakup with her last pack. And when griffin thinks about what waterplay is). More to be explored and answered but a good book.

My first Omegaverse EVER! I was told this would be a good place to start and I have to agree.

Heat Haven was a sweet novella and prequel to the next book in this series. I had so many questions on the terms like "knot" or "nest" being thrown around. This book didn't include too many problems or drama, it was just a good ol' fun time so I didn't feel overwhelmed being in a new world I didn't know.

It was such a great introduction to reading Omegaverse and I'm happy this is where I popped my cherry! Pausing to look up the terms didn't take away from the story since it was a sweet, easy read. I feel like it really prepared me for the next full length book in the series, which I really enjoyed!

If you're looking to try Omegaverse, read this little gem with no expectations. Just read it to get a glimpse into the world and terminology.

This was great!!! SPOILERS!!!!!!!

I really like this to the extent where I thought it was just too short Emily and Griffin story was everything and with the addition of Dion I loved it it got a little touchy feely when the douche bag of a man Jensen entered the picture but when they kicked him right to the curb it was great again. I was so mad at it ended on a cliffhanger and then I had to somehow download a free copy of like the epilogue to figure out what happened because how Griffin and Emily met spoilers was in an elevator that got stuck and they literally hit it off and he literally made her you know receive some relief and that's how they like you know got together cuz they were stuck there and then in the ending because she had bonded with Griffin and the other Alpha who was in the room with her Dion they run into Freddy and Kenji winch they made one of them British and one of them Asian and I'm sorry Trifecta quatrefecta I don't know what you want to call it but we have a black man because now we've established or I've gotten the better picture that Deon is definitely a black man we have Griffin which I don't know what Griffin is but I'm pretty sure he's white and then we have our British dude Freddy and then we have our resident Asian guy I'm sorry appetizers dinner dessert all of them and they get stuck on the elevator again I just so happy. She met her pack and she knows that she's going to bond with these two later they just hit it off. I need I need a part two to the story but there's no part 2. I feel like they could have given me more on her past life like why she has a hard limit for like choking like specifically explained it but I need it more too bad but like I was content with the ending definitely definitely if I've out of five for me it was sweet it was romantic it was spicy

I think this was a great introduction to omegaverse for those that are new to the genre. While I did love the characters and their chemistry, I felt like it was a little rushed.

How many times can we name drop companies? If this is supposed to be the first book for Heat Haven, I feel like most of the book should have taken place at the facility and the elevator getting stuck scenario would have been better for when another Alpha that joins their pack after getting to know Emily and Griffin. Which I say loosely as I they didn't feel like characters. Also the sex scenes felt like they were just describing what was happening and not really anything else. DNF
