It started to remind me of The Fault in Our Stars but I actually liked it better.

Maddy is homebound because of her illness. She can’t leave the house or she’ll die. Her world is very small: Mom, Carla and two tutors are the only people she has ever met, at least since her dad and brother were killed when she was a baby.

Maddy is fascinated by Olly, her new neighbor and they eventually e-meet. Carla arranges for them to meet in person and that the start of their relationship.

Loved the ending!!!

I read this book in one day and it was fantastic! I loved the story and the characters were so real and lifelike that I felt for them! I'm all for unique characters but they can be overdone, in this they were unique and normal and fantastic and realistic!

I loved this book! It made me happy and sad, and really kept me interested. Also loved the drawing etc on the pages.

This book kind of reminded me of Fault in our stars, in a good way.

This was a pretty short read (or perhaps i read too fast). I finished it two days (~two hours of reading each day).

I, like many others, believe that the first half of the book was pretty good, but the last half? I believe the ending was too rushed in my opinion. I think maybe another chapter or two would've made the book a 5/5 stars.

There was definitely instalove between Madeline and Olly. Shes pretty 🅱️old for someone whos never experienced the world before. It was quite predictable towards the end.

The extra little doodles and drawings throughout the book were absolutely adorable!

Hmmm. I really liked some parts of this book and disliked others, but mostly I was just disappointed that I didn't feel as much as I thought I would. A lot of it was beautifully written, especially the phrasing, with diverse characters, but the ending cheapened it in a lot of ways, and there was no real heart and no lasting impact for me. Very quick read.

I accidentally read a spoiler for this while I was halfway through, and I have to say it made it more interesting to read

I read this book in a day—because I really enjoyed it and because it is one of the rare books that is easy to get into. Everything, Everything has everything (everything) I personally look for in a novel: romance, comedy, a compelling plot, and, of course, the feels.

I absolutely love how uniquely this book is formatted. The chapters are short, readable, and creative. It’s formatted similarly to a journal, with narrative, some graphs, and even doodles. In my opinion, the way the book is formatted makes it an easy and fun read.

While I loved this book a lot, there are a few problems I had with it. For one, as it is formatted similarly to a journal, I feel it is focused more on plot than character. This may be just a personal preference, but I definitely felt the need for a bit more character development. The ending (no spoilers here) was also predictable (at least to me), though I find this problem with a lot of young adult novels I read.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this novel to anyone. It could be especially useful to any readers who have been in a reading slump, as it is a quick read that will definitely draw you in!

this might have been the worst book i have read in recent memory. it was so god damn boring. i read this for class about a year ago, and good god. it felt like a john green book, but worse somehow. it was just so painfully boring. how in the world did this girl basically get isolated from society and no one questioned her illness? she never looked into it until this boy showed up? makes no sense. home girl needs some help. this would have been better if it was a horror or thriller or something. make the mom truly insane. scare me. anything but this boring mess. horrible.

Weird, doomed instalove between traumatized teens. Read spoilers after dnf and am relieved I didn't waste the time finishing this
