Just incredible. Brent Weeks shows his characters grow and stretch and break and rebuild while revealing new information about the world, creating a rich saga that stretches 400 years. He blends macro-narratives about politics and nations with personal dramas seamlessly, fitting the late medieval setting. I honestly can't remember if I have read this one before, but I'll never forget it now.
