These books are such comfort reads for me. I haven't re-read them for years and I'm really enjoying rediscovering them again. This one is set entirely in the Book World, which is the part of the series I love the most. There are so many literary references packed in here, many of which I've never fully understood before. The blend of genres is brilliant and Fforde's writing is so clever and funny. I know the later books in the series aren't quite as good but so far the first three books have lived up to my memory of them so I'm interested to see how I feel about the rest of them.
Moderate: Death and Grief
