Review of Loose End by Melissa Ivers:

Loose End is a quick, little prequel novella. A scorned bride and an NFL player meet at a bar and end up with a night of fun, which is exactly what both of them needed.

June’s life changed the day of her wedding. Heartbroken and confused she meets Ryan, a NFL player who just wants to be alone after a horrible game. There is a ton of chemistry between June and Ryan from the moment they meet, even though they are strangers.

Drama, heat and some laughs are packed in this novella. I’m looking forward to see where June and Ryan’s story goes!

If you’re looking for a strangers to lovers, sports romance this is one to check out.

Review for Melissa Ivers’ Loose End:

I am so psyched for the rest of June and Ryan’s story! I did not get enough from this novella & I love these two! Seriously their chemistry is off the charts! Please give me all the Ryan and I can’t wait to see his “rules” crumble to nothing!

Review for Loose Ends by Melissa Ivers

Y’all…I’m dead. Yes, this is a novella and wouldn’t take long to read to begin with but I absolutely flew through this story. I was sucked in from the beginning and loved every second of it. Between the story, the heat, the chemistry between June and Ryan that jumps off the page, and the moments that had me literally laughing out loud, I couldn’t stop reading until I was finished. Now Melissa, we need to talk about that ending, because it had my mind going in so many different directions, I didn’t know if I was coming or going. I cannot wait to see what happens next so I’m going to need Ms. Ivers to get on writing that book as soon as possible!

This review is for Loose End which is part of the Let's Play anthology. What a tease! This novella was a prequel to June and Ryan’s story. It was easy to read with lots and lots of steam. It definitely left me wanting more. June’s wedding day does not end as expected but her encounter with Ryan just might be able to change all of that.  I really can’t wait for the next book

This is a review of Loose End by Melissa Ivers, part of the Let’s Play: A Sports Romance Anthology
This novella is a fun and sexy read introducing the story of June, a run away bride, and Ryan a professional football player looking for a good time. The sexual tension between these two is sizzling and sets up the next book perfectly. I just love Iver’s writing style, how she gets in the minds of her characters with a raw honesty. How some of these mind musings have me doubled over in laughter. This is a perfect teaser for June and Ryan’s continuing adventure in Tight End.
Relatively new on the scene, Melissa Ivers is fast becoming a top read for me.

Thank you to the author for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

**Review and rating for Melissa Ivers' Loose End**

"You look like you should be entertaining small children at a birthday party."
"I was blowing up balloon animals earlier. You must have just missed it."
"Shame. I bet you look real pretty blowing something up."
(...)
"Wouldn't you like to find out."
"I might like that."

Holy shitballs!
Anyone who knows me, knows I'm a sucker for good banter, chemistry, and tension between main characters. And this novella packs all of that, and so much more. I absolutely loved it!

It's June's wedding day, until she finds out her fiancé is cheating on her... with his best man. Understandably, she walks out, and tries to find solace in drinking at a local bar, still in her wedding dress.
Ryan just finished his second game at the NFL and it didn't go that well, so he's going to drown his sorrows at the same bar, until he sees a princess in a very frilly wedding dress sitting at his usual spot.

They start talking, one thing leads to another, and they spend the night together. Let me tell you, Melissa knows how to write good sex, and I may have needed a quick cold shower after this.
Within just a few pages, I managed to fall in love with both of them. When the night is over, June walks out and Ryan is left wanting more... so... what happens now? Will they find each other again? And what will happen when they do?

This is the prequel to Melissa's Tight End, which is coming next year, and I'm so looking forward to it I may resort to begging Melissa to release it sooner. Pretty please? Would bribing work?

Tight End is up for pre-order now, and I don't think you'll want to miss it.

This review is for Loose End by Melissa Ivers.
June is having a rough day. She is supposed to get married but walks in on her fiancé with his best man. She leaves and goes to a bar. There, she meets Ryan. Ryan is a perpetual playboy. Together, they agree to a one night stand but one of them changes their mind at saying goodbye.
Opinion
Warning! This short story ends in one heck of a cliffhanger. Though short, it was quite easy to become vested in the story of the twoMCs. The rest of the story should be published soon and I’ll be running to grab it.
Many thanks to Melissa Ivers for providing me with an ARC of this book.
