A macabre and agonizing story of a never-ending hunger. I think Tantlinger's writing here is best described as festering. It is absolutely dripping with exquisitely putrid details of horror that makes you crawls under your skin and make you squirm. Although I really enjoyed her writing, I didn't find the overall book compelling. It is still a fun piece of horror and worth the read especially if you're interested in obscure and gore-y horror.

best fucking horror book ive read in awhile i def didn't expect to adore this so much. The plot. The graphic messup scen. FUCKING LOVE IT.

This just show the main character going through her grief and obsession. The gore in this book and the disturbing shit that happen really got me and I LOVE TGAT SO MUCH. The ending r so beautifully written, well the entire book r beautifully written. A gorgeous beatiful book to start w on october.
