woow so this is what ive been missing!!! i read whole two books of the Kingmakers and was lost in the birthrights and the lineages and now this gem discovers everything! i loved the book but i just think that Yelena couldve been/ stayed a bit more ferocious and be the girl from the beginning but then i remember that some people just project the strenght outside the helpless situation. all in all ive loved the book and the final Gallo sibling is as special and as similar to the others and ive loved it.
Great job miss Lark

The perfect ending to this series but also the perfect beginning to the spin off!

I loved this series so much!!! It introduced me to mafia "dark" romances and made me love the mafia trope. I was so so excited for this series to come to an end.

However, this was my least favourite of the series.
I was excited to read about Sebastian, I had loved him from book one, but honestly, I was not that impressed lol.
Spoiler
I felt like the plot was quite predictable and a bit cliche, it was obvious that it would go tits up at the wedding and felt like people died for the sake of making it a bit more tense. It kinda just annoyed me that both the MC could be so dumb. Like c'mon Yelena what did you think would happen.

I wasn't really convinced of their chemistry and honestly couldn't care less if they stayed together. -
Also I really wanted Dante to stay and be more of a part of the book, it didn't feel right him stepping back from his life, it made the family feel disconnected, and I almost felt like the dynamics were all changed by this book, made me feel as though they didn't even like each other, which I thought was a shame - I enjoyed all these characters together, shame to brake it apart.

This book felt like it was setting up for the kingmakers series. Which did make me excited to read the next series, but wish this series ended on a better note.

My favourite part of this book was the revenge plot, and I absolutely loved series Sebastian go absolutely mental mode. I also loved seeing Miko again, felt like he was forgotten for a while, but seeing him again in this book, made me realise how much I missed him lol. Glad to see him in his natural element again

In conclusion my top 2 books of this series was Nero's at first and Riona's book at a close second
