The opening training scene was one of the best things I’ve ever read. Especially when she walked and walked and walked. JR Ward out-did herself writing it, making it sooooo worth the read. I was so captured in the story during that moment. I love Paradise, one of the better written feminine character.

it took me a while to get into all the new characters in this books—especially after reading so many black dagger brotherhood. all i really wanted to read were butch’s and marissa’s perspectives, but i am looking forward to the rest of this series nonetheless. (also?? zsadist and his baby girl? my heart exploded.)
