this book was super hyped up so i was excited, but i found it pretty hard to get into. i didn’t really connect with the main characters and wasn’t very interested in their romance. also the repeated use of the phrase  “docking station” was a little weird and cringey. but as it went on i felt like the story developed more and i became more engrossed. just the first half of the book felt like i was forcing myself to read.

I think this might be the best rom com I have ever read! I have read all of Abby's books and they are all 5 star reads but this book? Honestly, it's 6 stars. When I got to Chapter 40, my jaw was on the ground and stayed there. I cried SO much during this book but also laughed so hard I cried.

Just says in chapter 39 "Only love hurts this way." And that song "Only love can hurt like this" started playing in my head and I started crying harder. The end of chapter 44 also broke me.

This is definitely the best book I read this year. I'm honestly in awe of how good it was. I cannot recommend all of her books highly enough and while this book stands on its own, reading it knowing all about the other books and how they are connected was absolutely amazing!

And to top it all off, the audiobook narration is top tier! Zachary Webber (aka Jacob Morgan) is one of my favorite narrators and I have listened to so many of his books. Christine Lakin was phenomenal and the two of them together was magic!

I will be thinking about this book for a long time to come.
