Choose a Classic Based on a Character
Sometimes, the most memorable part of a classic novel is its characters. Choose a classic that has a character you find intriguing or inspiring, and delve deeper into their story.

  • "Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Bronte - based on Jane Eyre

  • "The Great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fitzgerald - Based on the character of Jay Gatsby, a mysterious millionaire who throws lavish parties in an attempt to win back his lost love.
  • "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee - Based on the character of Atticus Finch, a lawyer who defends a black man in a small southern town during the 1930s.
  • "Emma" by Jane Austen - Based on the character of Emma Woodhouse, a young woman who meddles in the romantic affairs of those around her, often with disastrous results.
