A historical fiction is a literary genre where the plot takes place in a setting located in the past (50 years or more). Sub genres are allowed, which may include (but are not limited to) historical fantasy, alt history, historical mystery, or historical romance. One or more of the main characters must self-identify as 2SLGBTQIA+.
