Welcome to the first Monster Manor Reading Challenge! It starts in March and it lasts until the end of May. Some information before we begin:
- You don't have to complete the prompts in order
- You're not required to be a member of Monster Manor but it will made the challenge easier
- If you're unable to complete a prompt due to an accessibility issue, please contact a host
- Choosing indie books is not required but highly encouraged
RULES
- One book may count for two spaces if it fits for both
- Don't use the same book for three or more spaces
- All books must be tracked through this challenge, a Goodreads shelf or a Twitter thread
- All books must be finished during the challenge period
- If using Goodreads or Twitter, you must submit your tracking shelf/thread using this form by the end of the challenge
Tracking with Twitter
- You must create a thread containing the hashtag #monstermanorreads
- Each prompt must be entered as a separate tweet under this thread, containing the prompt name, the book title and the author
Templates are available for Instagram Stories in our profile, but those will not count for tracking.
WINNERS
- The first person to complete the challenge will win a prize
- All participants will also be entered in a prize raffle
Winners will get a book from their wishlist, or if they're uncomfortable receiving a physical item they can choose to pick the book we read for one month.
Please do not harass author over their identities, we do not condone violating anyone's personal boundaries or choice to be out. This challenge is just a fun way to celebrate queer books!
