Overview
This challenge is to read 12 nonfiction or classic books in 2024. There are 12 extra bonus slots if you get on a roll studying a topic.
There is no shame if you don't hit 12. The point of this challenge is to challenge myself with my reading. For years I thought nonfiction was drudgery and classics were just there for book snobs to act elitist towards popular fiction readers. While I'm still not sure about the classics, nonfiction is definitely no longer drudgery for me (audiobooks are amazing). I'm here for silent bragging rights and some personal growth. You've welcome to join me.
No rush to read one book a month, just 12 over the entire year.
There are no prompts for topic/genre. Just whatever nonficton/classic you've been meaning to get to counts.
