The game is basically Snakes and Ladders. 

You'll start at the roots of the tree with the three Norns (or fates). Roll your die to follow the arrows, making your way up towards Asgard, the top of the tree. For each roll, you might land on a square with a prompt! I don't specify how many sides your die should have so, in theory, you can up the number of sides to (possibly) give yourself less prompts.
