Overview
Let's try not to be genrephobic. Come and join in on this challenge, where we try to read at least one book in every genre. You can set your own rule, if you want, but here's what I'm thinking:
1.) There are 58 genres on here and i want to read at least one book for each of them. Each book counts for only one genre, so if a book fits into two or more, you decide where to put it :)
2.) It's okay not to like a genre, but I'll try to read up to three books in a genre by different authors (and maybe different subgenres) if I DNF a book (sometimes it's more the writing style of an author or a specific sub genre you don't like, so I want to try and avoid this)
3.) There is no timelimit on this, so you can go through this as fast or as slow as you like.
4.) No pressure. Some genres may just be shitty genres. If you don't like a genre that's fine! noone is trying to force you to read genres you truly don't like. This challenge just wants you to at least read a book from this genre, before judging it.
5.) I consider this a "side-quest" challenge. This means you can read any and all books you like, and don't have to go through all genres before reading another book from a genre you like :)
6.) As an additional recommendation, diversify your books and try to get as many books as possible from BIPoC/LGBTQIA+/neurodivergent/disabled authors
