Overview
Not feeling personally satisfied by any of the existing challenges and want to challenge myself to continue to read outside the box/continue diversifying who I read/what I read in 2024!
Feel free to join me/add books if you'd like to use this challenge to guide some/any of your 2024 reading selections.
Please note that there aren't going to be as many "Read X by a Black/Latine/Indigenous/Native Author" type prompts, as those are regularly mixed into what I read already, although I have included some that center reading a new to you author based on writer's identities. If this is a new way you're diversifying your reading/bookshelves, this is a great place to start, but also challenges those of us who are familiar with authors from different parts of the world to dig deeper. I'd be open to providing recs/guidance to folks looking to diversify their reading habits/bookshelves in general though, as always!
