Overview
Because I feel like I need to build the habit of reading this type of book.
Anthologies are really good for when you don't have the energy or time to read. It's not a big commitment to finish a story or a poem before bed, for example, and taking a month to read a whole anthology is less anxiety-inducing than taking a month to finish a novel. Besides, many classic authors have prolific work in the genre, and it's easier to get into them if you start with their short stories. Reading nonfiction in this format is also more comfortable.
As of right now, there are 7 specific anthologies I need to get to, so 7 prompts. I may add more later, but the number probably won't surpass ten.
I'm also hosting challenges for: epic poems, poetry collections, audiobooks, big books, standalones, book chains, book covers, fantasy tropes, mystery/horror, Dark Academia, Kafka's works, Brazilian lit, Everything Everywhere All at Once and BTS' solos.
To easily visualize your reading year, here's the 2024 Reading Wrap Up.
And here's my guide on how to read more regularly.
