Overview

This challenge was made by a Qwordy on Youtube.
THE RULES:
This readathon challenge operates completely on the honor system. There is no constant submitting of books into a google form, there are no points or teams. It is purely for your own personal reading, so please do with this what you will. You are the master of your own destiny. That being said, this is meant to be a CHALLENGE and a REALLY HARD one at that. I, the creator, don't even think I can fully complete this but I love to challenge myself with things like this. You can play by your own rules but if you'd like to stick with me in solidarity for making this the absolute most difficult reading challenge out there, then join me fellow bookworm, and let's smash this challenge to bits!
  1. Rule #1: DNFing is a No
    1. Books submitted for your challenge MUST BE READ  IN FULL! NO DNFs!  You obviously may DNF whatever you like but if you do so, the book cannot be counted in the challenge itself. Choose your reads wisely, adventurer.
  2. Rule #2: Doubling Up is a Sometimes
    1.  You may only double up on prompts with the indicated purple squares on the bingo board. Otherwise, you may NOT reuse titles for multiple white squares.  The ones you may use double up on are the A-Z challenge, the Rainbow Challenge, the Queer Rainbow challenge, the Full Name Challenge, the Genre Challenge, and the Monthly Release challenge.  So for example, if you read an indie book you can also include that in any of those purple challenges but you cannot double up on an indie book that you also backed on Kickstarter. Capiche?   You MAY however, use one book multiple times across any of the purple spaces (i.e. a book that has a trans-MC, that's a fantasy, that is a red cover, and a new release in the month released, etc.)
  3. Rule #3: Rereads are a NO
    1.  You may not use a book you have already read! That's right, no REREADS! This challenge, in essence, is to help expand your mental library of books. You obviously can reread whatever you want in your year, but none of them may count towards the challenge.
  4. Rule #4: Reviews are a MUST
    1.  You must review all the books you read on whatever review platform you use, whether Goodreads, Amazon, Storygraph, TikTok, youtube, or whatever. This challenge heavily features indie and smaller author challenges and reviews are the #1 way you can help an author out without expending too much energy.  Even a simple "it was good" review will suffice for this.
  5. Rule #5: HAVING FUN IS A MUST
    1.  HAVE FUN! Like I said, this is supposed to be a DIFFICULT CHALLENGE but it's meant to be a means of expanding your bookish knowledge, bringing new authors and genres into your life because you never know what you might be missing by sticking to the same ol' same ol'. It's meant to get you out of your comfort zone and explore the wide world of literary dishes!
  6. Rule #6: Whining is a NO
    1.  Please do not contact me complaining about a challenge. You are not obligated to participate. This is, again, on an honor system, you are not being graded or judged on what you read or whether or not you participate. If you feel you have a better means of a challenge that suits you, be my guest, I cannot control that nor would I want to.

EXTRA INFO: For the prompts that say anything about buying a book, you can and should utilize the library.
