Overview
This list includes all of Stephen King's novels in publication order. I have excluded the numerous short stories and novellas, as well as, the novels written under his pen name Richard Bachman. I'm not a fan of short fiction and the one Bachman book I tried didn't work for me. Plus, all of these books can easily be found at the local library so you won't run into anything that is not accessible.
I recommend starting at his first book and working on from there. Not for the connections in the Kingverse (even though they exist) but because Carrie is a great first novel. If you only want the best, The Shining is my favorite so far with Pet Sematary as a close second.
