There's a reason why this has the highest rating among the three books in this series and that's because it's deserving of it. I definitely liked this more than I did Lady Sophia's Lover despite hating Nick Gentry's character in that book.
Reformed rakes are a hit or miss trope for me. Fortunately for this one, I really enjoyed it because it was executed well (okay maybe that first chapter was unnecessary but I guess it gave Nick some skills if you know what I mean). The romance was surprisingly endearing too. However, there are several unanswered questions by the end. Moreover, the epilogue consisted mainly of Ross and Sophia!! Like!! This isn't about them!!
Anyway, it's true what everyone says – this is the spiciest and steamiest LK series. She just doesn't do it like this anymore LOL (that won't stop me from reading her future releases tho)
