I disliked this so much. I loved the idea of a single mom moving to a small town and falling for the sheriff. Too bad the sheriff, Jess, is a total bully. He’s a jerk to her when she shows up then decides he was wrong and she’s his. He doesn’t even give her the option, just decides he’s her man now. After she repeatedly told him no.. of course she caves. Gigi started off so strong but then just stopped arguing with him because what would it even do.. Jess always gets his way.

Ugh I’m so hesitant to read the rest of the series.
