The Cinderella Murder by Mary Higgins Clark, Alafair Burke

3.0

Looking back I've not read a book by Mary Higgins Clark since 2009 and reading my reviews put the long time down to her books becoming very similar and blending into one. Alafair Burke is new to me and not a name I recognise at all. How do these collaborations work? Do they write alternate chapters? Or is one more of a consultant? Always been curious. Anyway back to the book in hand. The short chapters make it very easy to read however the tendency to try and each one on a bit of a cliffhanger got a bit tedious. The concept was an interesting one though, a reality TV series investigating a cold case, and not one I've come across before. An interesting quick read but not really got back into reading MHC books.
