New York by Travis Luedke

1.5 stars that I generously boosted to 2 stars, as I have read worse books...but not by much. I didn't like the vampirism in this book (I'm more into Anita Blake, Vampire Diaries, etc. sort of vamps), I didn't like the main characters (I liked Aaron a little moreso than Michelle--she was just annoying to me), and I didn't think the plot was fleshed out well. I couldn't stand
Michelle's method of punishing of Delia. Real sexual violence and threats like that do NOT trip my trigger. I thought it was just cruel.
I also didn't like the writing--to me it was vague and repetitive. It just didn't hold my attention. By the middle of the book, I would just sort of read the first two sentences of a paragraph and then skim the rest. So that's that. No more of this author for me. Sorry, Travis.
