Dark Matter by Blake Crouch

the concept is very neat. the writing didn't wow me, weak characters and dialogue, but this book is a real page turner so no need to dwell on that imo - popcorn lit has its place.

significant plot complaint:
the reveal that there are many "original jasons" trying to get back with the "original wife" was mind blowing in the moment, but led to some severe fridge logic the more i thought about it. there should be an "equally infinite" amount of "original wives" in their "original universes," with universes spinning off of the "original" constantly, including after the swap took place. so there's no reason for them all to have crowded into one universe. the ending kinda falls apart there i think.
