I became so invested in the gradual romance of the main characters--it reminded me a lot of Anna and the French Kiss, which I loved. Short and sweet and perfect.

I loved the writing style and thought the plot and characters were interesting, but I don't feel like this worked very well as a short story. There just wasn't enough relationship-building or backstory for the events to feel real to me.

This one came out of nowhere and was AMAZING. Beautiful, prosaic writing AND a condemnation of angry, extremist Christianity. Love it.
