Wow. Did that really just happen?! It was a great book, yet so heartbreaking. Should I have seen the coming?! It could be a possibility that I read reviews from all books in the series before I even started any of them, and this is why I knew something would happen between Nash and Kaylee that would make everyone "Team Tod" but, finally the puzzle pieces are coming together.

I am loving where this series is going though. I seems that every book we get into we learn more and more about the Netherworld and its so-called creatures that exist there. Plus, the incredible new mysteries that unfold.

The one thing I seemed to enjoy more so in this book then in the last, is that we get to spend a lot more time with Kaylee and her adventure on her own. Her own decisions, her badass attitude that finally comes out, and her own heroism. She did so many hero-like things with Nash always on her side. Not that I hated it, I mainly loved it a lot more when they were alone doing "other" steamy things *sigh* but for once it was great to see Kaylee handle her own independence. I wish I could give her a huge *high 5* for that.

And then there's Tod, oh Tod. Why oh why weren't you like this from the beginning? For the first time (okay maybe second) I have seen a side to you that screams "ILOVEYOUMORETHENMYSELFTORISKMYDEADLIFE!!" okay that was long I know, but really. When Tod punched his brother for what he did to Kaylee sent my heart soaring. That my friends is a guy in love with a girl. Then when he stared at her and held her hand has if to say "you belong with me" *swooons*

So what does this mean for the road ahead? There is only one way to find out.......
