I found this very repetitive and a toxic relationship.
Jameson has many tantrums about how he just always gets his way, albeit he thought he was doing the right thing but I found it very condescending.
Emily, also - had her “bratty” tendencies but rather than Jameson being a “brat tamer” and enjoying the brattiness I found it causing more arguments than anything??
Also, Emily - for the entire length of the book said to herself to get self respect and then frankly, didn’t. She caved everytime for someone who was treating her poorly.
I also found the random fade to blacks hard to follow. Mid chapters it would just pick up somewhere new on a new page without any indication is was a fade to black?
