Edit: The more I think about it, the less I like the book. I think Gus and January have some very faint likeable qualities but are overall boring and not well rounded characters. And the romance was bad. The more I ponder, I think the romance of the book makes it a worse book.
Ugh. I honestly don't even know where to start with this one. I wanted to love it. I have a book trigger: I cannot stand to read about cheating especially parent(s) cheating. And that is one of the central themes of the book, so this was a tough one for me to get into. The romance was okay, January and Gus are likeable characters but the cult subplot was boring.
