The Slave by Kate Aaron

3.75

I found that the part of the book with the most plot was the very end, most of it was either sex or thinking about sex. I should have seen this coming, with two main characters being sex slaves, but hoped for more depth. I found it odd that it seemed all of a sudden that Kai liked Master, like acknowledging that someone is pleasing to the eyes is vastly different to being in love. It would have been nice to see someone else’s POV, since Tam was very simple minded: again, always thinking about sex, which makes sense since he’s been a sex slave for so long, but still. It seems like volume 2 is in Kai’s POV though, which is nice. There’s some homophobia in this book, but people turn a blind eye to sex slaves so they didn’t see that discrimination while at Master’s home.
(LGBTQ+ rep: gay, MlMlM relationship? (Idk if it’s how this is written, but the three men seemed to be together by the end, even if technically Master “doesn’t love them like that” (as if lol) )
