"The Intern" is a short story that directly relates to The Nowhere Man mission in HELLBENT.

A cocky, young journalist, working for an online tabloid, takes his attractive, unpaid intern to the site of 'his' last mission because he has heard that The Nowhere Man returns to the scene of his activities to make sure things are still under control. The journalist learns he is more coward than cool, and his female associate finds her strength and purpose courtesy of some Neo-Nazis and a really ordinary looking guy who interferes when there is an injustice.

The story is very short and a very fast read. The Kindle Edition includes a preview of the next novel OUT OF THE DARK.
