Not just for a debut, but for any mystery/ thriller this book was AY-MAZING. So different and unpredictable. The writing draws you in, the concept is original. Millicent and her husband who is the narrator have gotten bored with their marriage. This is certainly a twist I wouldn't recommend in real life, lol. I really loved it and would read anything Downing writes in the future. Jaw dropping until the very end.
