This is the manga that started it all. Contrary to what a lot of people believe, Shooting Star is the first original Cowboy Bebop work that stirred the Cowboy Bebop manga (three volumes) and the spectacular anime series.
The character designs are a little different then what the average CB fan may be used to, but the plot is just as ripe with humor, action and sarcasm. I liked reading this small two volume series because it is slightly different then the anime and spin off manga, making it refreshing. It was also very cool to see the roots of one of the greatest shows ever made. Definitely a must-read.
