had such high hopes nd kept having to force myself to pick it up again ; ;  there were a couple passages here n there where it felt like i was getting what i wanted out of a modern day minotaur story! nd the rest of it just felt like it was leading nowhere.. i do think the concept of exploring loneliness n isolation through myth/legend is super interesting but So much time was spent on what i thought was the least interesting part of that story, which is saying a lot bc i love a book that "goes nowhere" esp if the place it's starting from has lots to offer. do appreciate some of its style n experimentation nd there rlyy were some moments that made me keep reading but they just ended up making me realize i was waiting for another "moment," which doesn't make for a great reading experience i think!
