Reading this book a second time has been an incredibly different experience than the first. When I first picked up this book in 2018 I was new to the fantasy genre and I didn't appreciate the world building as much as I do now that I am a seasoned fantasy reader. The pacing is a tad slow at times, but I felt necessary to truly bring the world to life. I never know how to put my words together to form a proper review.
