This book should have been a 5 star read, but unfortunately it just fell through in some parts.
I thought the enemies to lovers was well done, but I missed my big love declaration. It wasn’t really clear when they were officially lovers.
The book led up to an interesting cliffhanger, but I feltthe Sewell reveal was done too quickly, as was Tait revealing that he knew about Erik killing his father. That all felt really rushed. It could have been added into the next book, or this book could have been longer.
Will I read the next one? Absolutely. I just hope it’s a bit better than this guy.
