Sons of Darkness by Gourav Mohanty

Did not finish book. Stopped at 15%.
I really wanted to like this book. I thought the concept sounded amazing, but I just couldn't get into it. 

I tried to push through for a little while, but I found it too slow and too dense for my taste. I had a really difficult time getting past the misogynistic/weirdly sexualized  undertones of the prologue and following sections, and I think that's part of why I wasn't sucked in. That, and the ritual torture was just a bit too much. 

While I might try it again in the future, I'm just not in the head space for it at this time.
