3.0

Overall, this is an unimpressive anthology, with more stories that are mediocre than anything else. Most of the writers did a good job with the technical aspects of writing; however, the tales lack that crucial element which connects the reader to the characters and adds the emotional component to the story. In horror, beyond all other genres, that sense of connection is vital. For without that, there is no sense of terror to be had.
