The Pillars of Sand by Mark T. Barnes

5.0

Although this book like its predecessors was overly edited, summarizing sections rather than showing, I have no choice but to give it 5 stars. The world-building is phenomenal, and the story comes together well in the end (though, again, it seems rushed, if you can believe it). I liked the characters, especially Indris and Mari, though I also felt sympathy for Corajidin.

I will review better later.
