Star Trek: Starfleet Academy by Ryan Parrott, Mike Johnson

4.0

The art is lovely and helped a great deal by the high-quality printing. It feels like you're turning pages of animation cells!

I love the characters and the cameos. (Morn!) The plot was... perhaps not the best. I feel some liberties were taken with the OG characters for the plot. (Spock and Uhura are already an item? Didn't that develop in the movie? Any of these people would just drop a mystery and leave it for future cadets?)

Not enough McCoy. He smoulders for two panels with no dialog. boo.

But Vek pulled this up to four stars from three. He was a HOOT.
