Very dark and twisted short stories that truly do explore, navigate, and showcase the downfalls of human desire, body, and twisted fate. All of the short stories are rooted in systemic and institutional failures as well -- which is how some characters end up in terrible, twisted, irreversible situations. 

For me, all the stories highlighted how much horror and scary stories are about violation of each other's bodies, autonomy, rights. How we use power against one another.
