As a lover of anything Titanic, I couldn't wait to pick this novel up. It took me a bit to get into it; through this book I've discovered I'm not a huge fan of present-tense narration. But as it progressed, I grew accustomed to it and was able to focus on Valora, her twin Jamie, and their found family of the Johnnie's.
I loved Valora and Jamie's relationship, as well as the focus on their culture. Valora has many dreams throughout the story which I found intriguing.
The last 100 pages had me on the edge of my seat, and the last page certainly had me in tears. Titanic buffs, definitely pick this up!
