Fight Me by Lacey Black

4.0

In Fight Me, we see a confirmed bachelor and playboy Jake Stevens meet his match in Erin, the girl whom he bullied in high school; an event that Erin has never forgotten nor forgiven.

Meeting as adults, Erin is at first absolutely agnostic to jake, as she should be; but Jake with his usual charm (not!) wears her down.

This book is a bit juvenile, with Erin especially holding on to the past more tightly than would be expected from an adult female; but since I love “opposites attract” romances, it took the sting put of the juvenile behavior.
