Braving the Wilderness by Brené Brown

5.0

Brené Brown expresses her academic research tackling belonging in a palatable text with Braving the Wilderness. Through a combination of anecdotal and qualitative data, Brown vulnerably presents the tools for obtaining belonging and the importance of a functioning society to maintain these. I have recently been going through dark times, as a lot can relate having gone through the pandemic, and had looked to reading as an escape. Coincidentally, this book was next on my list which I found to be a timely motivation to progress while maintaining humanity, being generous, and doing so with transparency of others and myself. Braving the Wilderness allowed me to reflect and refocus. Would recommend to anyone.
