Fire in His Embrace by Ruby Dixon

3.5 stars.

I really loved reading this, but I there were a lot of chapters that were the same scene but in the other persons point of view and it got on my nerves a little. This one had heaps of action and bits and pieces are starting to unravel and Amy WANTS a mate but her sister is making her decisions for her so I'm real excited to read her book, but I will admit when I'm reading these they at times feel a little too slow and tedious. It has me feeling for about 50% of the book that I won't read the next book, until I get closer to the end and the characters are set up and then I'm excited to continue. Individually each book has been pretty great action and romance wise, but there's so little background plot to the actual series that I always end up thinking I won't continue.

This book had a super strong heroine and a really great hero, they were both pretty badass, and both went through some shit. Hands down she's been my favourite because she was strong and wanted to fight not hide behind her dragon, and even though I'm still rolling my eyes at these girls whenever they go 'shopping' or look for loot (toothpaste and cookies, novels and mattresses) in a post apocalyptic world, because she was taught to survive she's the most 'smart' about things.
