Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny by Holly Madison

4.0

I know nothing about Holly Madison, The Girls Next Door, or Playboy. I still really enjoyed reading this memoir.

Is the writing awkward at times? Are the stories and timelines hard to follow? Is the drama petty? Are the situations sometimes wild and excessive? Sure.

You should still read this book.

It's the story of a girl who had dreams, who took steps to make them happen, who found out that things were not what they seemed, and who got sucked into a world of domestic abuse and manipulation, while the rest of the country looked on knowing none the better.

What makes this book good is the fact that this girl manages to get out of the situation and take back her life.

It's kind of inspiring in its own way, regardless of how you feel about Holly Madison.

I want everyone to set aside their preconceived notions and read this book.
