The German Heiress by Anika Scott

This book was really intriguing. It was interesting to see a book from the POV of a potential war criminal. As the reader learns more about Clara's family and life, so does she. It's hard to know who to trust and what the actual truth is behind character's motives. Jakob completely won me over from his first scene - I love him (and him calling Clara 'liebling' right from the start is just 😍)
