I have heard good reviews so maybe I just expected a lot from the book but it was way slower than I would like it to be. It is very descriptive but to the point where I just found my mind wondering about something else and I had to pull myself into the book again and again. The first part of the book was just me waiting for something to happen, the second part was things happening and probably my favourite part and the third part of the book just dragged along and as much as I like Lucian's perspective I don't think it was needed.
Maybe this book just wasn't for me, it's just too slow for my liking and no action. Plus I was quite surprised about the romance bits but I wasn't really invested in the characters to care enough.
